Usciva il 24 febbraio del 1975 il sesto album in studio dei Led Zeppelin. Il disco uscì per la Swan Song Records, etichetta della stessa band lanciata l'anno prima. L'album doppio presentava nuove otto composizioni, mentre il resto del materiale, pur sempre inedito, era composto da brani scritti nel corso degli anni precedenti e mai pubblicati.
