Usciva il 17 luglio del 1981 'Escape', il settimo album in studio della leggendaria band americana Journey. Nello stesso anno, in pochissime settimane, il disco raggiuinse la prima posizione della Billboard 200. Ad oggi risutano vendute oltre 12 milioni di copie, certificandolo come l'album più venduto della band. 'Escape' è il primo disco a vedere in formazione Jonathan Cain, tastierista che sostituì il dimissionario Gregg Rolie.
